THE LAND OF
BEATRIX POTTER
A Family Trip to the Lake District
The Greeks have one of the oldest civilisations in the world, and as such there are few places to rival it for historical attractions.
From the magnificent Acropolis to many islands littered with ancient remains, Greece is a history lovers dream. It has been a major trading nation for several thousand years, and even today serves
as a gateway between east and west.
But Greece is also a beautiful country to explore, with both the mainland and the islands boasting rugged mountains, pretty towns and villages, and hundreds of miles of stunning coastline.
As a holiday destination, there is a wide choice of ways to visit Greece. Beach holidays are extremely popular, of course, but so too are tours, cruises, and sailing trips.
The more adventurous also make use of the network of small ferries to spend time island hopping. Its a great way to see as much as possible, in a short period. However you choose to see Greece, you’re sure to have a great time, and leave wanting to go back again soon!
