For a string of mostly small islands, which inhabit an equally small percentage of the Earth’s surface, the Caribbean has a reputation far larger than it would seem appropriate. It’s image as a paradise retreat may well be largely justified, although there are certainly areas where it is beneficial to avoid some of the over commercialisation.

On the whole, however, the islands live up to their reputation, and continue to dazzle their visitors.
